Purchasing 2 updates seems pointless and while I would like to support the project by getting Gemini, 75€ for lifetime updates is a little bit too much for my poor east european student pocket at this point in time :| But hey, Steam Summer Sale 2014 is not yet finished so perhaps we can see -33 or even -40%. I've installed linux back in the day, just because Windows Krita was terribly unstable, now it's working much, much better - I still use it under linux but I will gladly buy Gemini if there will be bigger discount on lifetime sub. psd in general as well as for all additional features it has). You should also try MyPaint as it's also free and powerfull (although I preffer Krita, mainly for good support for Photoshop brushes and. ![]() However before you buy go and try Krita Desktop yourself - it's available for free and it has most features of Gemini (Gemini is a mashup of Krita Desktop and Krita Sketch, wrapped into nice ready-to-go packet with Steam integration - you basicaly pay for QoL as software itself is completely free). ![]() It stands tall among other softwares - it's used by professionals (even artists previously using Photoshop for digital painting are now slowly switching to Krita because it offers everything they need for MUCH lower price, or no price at all and devteam is genuinely listening to suggestions). I would say Krita is everything you will ever need (unless you're getting into classic painting in which case Corel Painter is basicaly painting simulator) in terms of digital painting.
